Senegal is about to take a major step in modernizing its tax administration: the obligation to issue electronic invoices.
This reform, foreseen in the Finance Act 2025, will impose on all companies subject to VAT of issue invoices in electronic and dematerialized format, in accordance with the new standards laid down by the Directorate-General for Taxes and Fields (DGID) and BCEAO.
